Snake Escape is made by Atira Labs. Installing and playing it means these terms apply. They are short because the game is simple: it takes nothing from you and promises nothing back.
A personal, non-exclusive licence to install and play the game on devices you control, for as long as you like, at no cost. You may not resell it, redistribute it, or pull it apart to ship something derived from it.
Progress is stored on your device, not on a server we run. Uninstalling the app, clearing its data, or losing the device loses it, and we cannot restore it. If you want your standing to survive a new phone, sign in to Play Games — your leaderboard scores live with your Google account.
When you run out of hearts the game may offer to bring you back in exchange for watching a video. That offer is always optional, and it is the only advertising in the game. If the ad cannot be shown, you are let back in anyway.
Leaderboards are run by Google Play Games Services and subject to Google's terms. Scores submitted by modified builds, emulated input, or anything else designed to post a number you did not play for may be removed by Google, and we will report them when we spot them.
The game is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it correct and working, but we do not promise it is free of defects, that it will run on every device, or that it will remain available. To the extent the law allows, Atira Labs is not liable for loss arising from using it — including lost progress, lost streaks, or a leaderboard position that goes away.
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live that cannot be limited by agreement.
The game will change: levels, rules and balance may be adjusted, and features may be added or withdrawn. We may stop distributing it at any time. Material changes to these terms move the effective date above.
