Effective 4 September 2026 · Snake Escape for Android
(com.atiralabs.snakeuntangle)
The short version. Your progress is kept on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you sign in to Play Games, and then only your score. There is no account, no email address, and no analytics.
The game saves your progress locally using Android's standard app preferences. Nothing here is transmitted, and all of it is removed when you uninstall the app.
Puzzle boards are not stored or downloaded. They are generated on your device from a number, which is why the game works with no connection.
The Leaderboard screen offers a sign-in button. Nothing is sent until you press it. If you do sign in, Google receives your Play Games identity and two numbers from this game: your total stars and your longest run of cleared levels. That is the whole submission. It is what places you on the public leaderboard.
You are never asked to sign in to play. Every mode works fully signed out, and declining costs you nothing but the ranking. Google's handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
The game includes Google's AdMob SDK, which starts when the app opens. It serves one thing: an optional rewarded video, offered only when you have run out of hearts and choose to continue. There are no banners, no pop-ups, and no ad you did not ask for.
AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and coarse technical information to select and measure ads. We do not receive that data, and we cannot see who watched an ad. See how Google uses data from partner apps. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
If you decline the ad, or it fails to load, the game continues anyway. The rescue is never withheld because an ad did not appear.
The app declares one Android permission: internet access. It is used for ads and, if you sign in, for Play Games. Every other part of the game runs offline.
Snake Escape has no chat, no user-generated content and no way for players to contact each other. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the Play Games or AdMob services in this app, contact us and we will help you raise it with Google, who hold that data.
Because the app holds no account, there is no data of yours on our servers for us to delete — we do not run any.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what leaves your device, the effective date at the top changes with it, and the change is described in the app's release notes on Google Play.
